The tournament entered its second year as a premium ATP Challenger 175, the highest tier of tournament on the ATP Challenger Tour. The elite ATP Challenger 175 category boasts only a handful of events worldwide and the Arizona Tennis Classic was to stand alone as the only one in North America. With total prize money at $225,500 (a Challenger Tour record), the competition was exceptional.
As in previous editions, this year’s tournament will be held at the historic Phoenix Country Club and would showcase a number of players ranked in the world’s top 50 along with some of the brightest young talent in the sport.
Our 2019 Champion and 2021 Wimbledon Finalist Matteo Berrettini (IT),
Our 2022 Champion Denis Kudla (US) and our 2023 Champion Nuno Borges (PT) would all return and complete ans exceptionally strong field of competitors in 2024.
We were thrilled to bring this international sporting event back to Arizona and were confident that local sports fans would be treated to a week of exciting action and entertainment while also supporting two great causes in our local community, Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Serve the Future.
