Professional Tennis returns to Phoenix!

After a two year hiatus due to Covid 19, the Arizona Tennis Classic is thrilled to announce it will be bringing men’s professional tennis to the Valley of the Sun in 2022. The dates for the upcoming event are March 13 - March 20. The tournament which is part of the ATP Challenger Tour will again be hosted at the Phoenix Country Club and will feature many of today’s top ranked players as well as some of the world’s rising professional stars. The event is strategically placed on the tennis calendar between two of the biggest ATP tournaments in the world (BNP Paribas Indian Wells & the Miami Open). This ensures a strong player field as our 2019 Champion Matteo Berrettini of Italy reached the 2019 US Open Semi-finals and was a finalist at Wimbledon 2021. Six Players from our 2019 tournament are currently ranked top 50 in the world and two are in the top 10 including Berrettini at #7 and Norwegian Casper Ruud at #8. We look forward to seeing some of the world’s best players compete for the 2022 title.
